The goal of the mechanical subsystem is to sketch a modular and portable design in Solidworks and deliver full potential to all the components of the vehicle and to maximize the degrees of freedom and minimize the drag force experienced by the vehicle thereby achieving higher gliding speed in the water, in addition to easy transportation. We also ensure the strength and durability of the AUVs by choosing the right combination of material after hundreds of analysis in ANSYS. The design is made waterproof which ensures dehydrated conditions for the Intel NUC and all the other electronic components.
